As Carmen prepared to become a cosmetologist, she began working as a reservation here at Hair Impressions in 2014. Carmen then started Shelton State Community College to fulfill her passion for hair. Carmen furthers her education by attending several trainings and hair shows. Carmen specializes in the latest color and cutting techniques. Her all-time favorite is special occasion hair and makeup. Carmen is a level three stylist and strives to make her guest feel beautiful each and every visit.


My name is Kelsey Pate. I am from West Blocton, Al. I studied at Paul Mitchell the school of Birmingham to receive my cosmetology license. From there I was recruited directly on at Hair Impressions to work for the owner of the Paul Mitchell school that I attended. I have more of a passion for hair color and cutting and that’s what I have built most of my clientele around. I would love to meet you and help you with any struggles you have with your hair!


Hey! My name is Brittany. I’m born and raised in the Tuscaloosa community. I began my hair career in 2015. After becoming a licensed cosmetologist, I moved to Mobile to further my career. Being a hair stylist is a true passion of mine. I love making others feel beautiful and expressing my artistic abilities in a unique way. Coloring hair is my favorite part of my job! I’m so thrilled to become part of the Paul Mitchell team and look forward to meeting you.


Hi, my name is Lexi. I was raised in Tuscaloosa. I’ve been a cosmetologist for almost 3 years now! I graduated from the wonderful Aveda Institute in Hoover. I’ve trained and worked with Redken color for over 2 years. I’m so happy to have joined the Paul Mitchell team this past May! Color is my passion and no challenge is too small



Siouxsie has been with the Hair Impressions team for 19years. With over thirty years of experience styling hair, she has developed a deep love for the salon industry. She grows as she attends a variety of trainings led by top stylists of the Paul Mitchell Systems. Over the years Siouxsie has styled hair for fashion shows, judged competitions, provided services benefitting charities, and much more. She considers it a great honor and privilege to work with the talented and artistic stylists here at Hair Impressions.


Stephanie was first introduced to the Paul Mitchell family when she became a reservationist at Hair Impressions in 2006. After falling in love with the industry and culture, Stephanie began cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell the School Birmingham. While in school, Stephanie was educated in advanced cutting and coloring techniques. She has continued her education back at Hair Impressions by attending numerous hair shows in Nashville, New Orleans, and Las Vegas where she studied under top Paul Mitchell stylists. In her 13 years as a stylist at Hair Impressions, she has realized that in order to achieve the highest level of quality and artistic expertise she must continue to learn daily. Stephanie specializes in dimensional color techniques and the art of styling and finishing.



Hi, Im Mackenzie! I am from Huntsville, Alabama but I call Tuscaloosa my home! I am a Graduate of Paul Mitchell The School in Birmingham, Alabama. I began my employment with Hair Impressions the Salon as the reservationist while attending cosmetology school. I’ve gained tons of knowledge from the best stylist in town and national educators while in school. I have a passion for color, especially going blonde and balayage, cutting, and I’m a sucker for a huge transformation. I am Certified in Extensions and I love to make others feel great about themselves. I find joy in seeing my guest confidence boost when leaving the salon. I absolutely love what I do, I cant even call this a job. If you were to ask what I do for fun, Id tell you work, this is my hobby and I am very passionate about it.
