Our Stylists
Carmen
As Carmen prepared to become a cosmetologist, she began working as a reservationist here at Hair Impressions in 2014. Carmen then started Shelton State Community College to fulfill her passion for hair. Carmen furthers her education by attending several trainings and hair shows. Carmen specializes in the latest color and cutting techniques. Her all-time favorite services are special occasion hair and makeup. Carmen is a level four stylist and strives to make her guests feel beautiful each and every visit.
Stephanie
Stephanie was first introduced to the Paul Mitchell family when she became a reservationist at Hair Impressions in 2006. After falling in love with the industry and culture, Stephanie began cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell the School Birmingham. While in school, Stephanie was educated in advanced cutting and coloring techniques. She has continued her education back at Hair Impressions by attending numerous hair shows in Nashville, New Orleans, and Las Vegas where she studied under top Paul Mitchell stylists. In her 13 years as a stylist at Hair Impressions, she has realized that in order to achieve the highest level of quality and artistic expertise she must continue to learn daily. Stephanie specializes in dimensional color techniques and the art of styling and finishing.
Emma
Emma began her journey at Hair Impressions in 2024 as a reservationist, where she developed a love for the beauty industry. While working at the front desk, she attended Paul Mitchell Birmingham, completing her cosmetology training. Now freshly licensed and excited to begin her career behind the chair, Emma is eager to share her passion with clients. She especially enjoys blonding services, as well as special occasion hair and makeup. Her goal is for every guest who sits in her chair to leave feeling confident, beautiful, and like the best version of themselves.
Siouxsie
Siouxsie has been with the Hair Impressions team for 19years. With over thirty years of experience styling hair, she has developed a deep love for the salon industry. She grows as she attends a variety of trainings led by top stylists of the Paul Mitchell Systems. Over the years Siouxsie has styled hair for fashion shows, judged competitions, provided services benefitting charities, and much more. She considers it a great honor and privilege to work with the talented and artistic stylists here at Hair Impressions.
Harlee
Licensed since 2020, Harlee is a Tuscaloosa native with a passion for precision and style. With a specialty in men’s cuts and body waxing, Harlee combines skill, attention to detail, and a modern approach to create sharp, clean looks tailored to each client. Whether it’s a classic cut or something fresh and trendy, Harlee’s goal is to make every guest leave the chair feeling confident.
Frances
Hey y’all my name is Frances! I am a passionate hairstylist dedicated to creating beautiful, confidence-boosting looks tailored to each client’s unique style. I have been doing hair for 2 years. I always ensure my guests will leave my chair feeling refreshed, radiant, and empowered. I was born and raised in South Georgia, but I’ll always yell roll tide! I graduated from Aveda in Austin, Texas in 2023 and am so happy to have joined the Paul Mitchell family! I’d love to take care of all your hair, waxing, and spray tan needs! When I’m not behind the chair I’m either outside on a dirt road or deer stand or curled up with a glass of wine binge watching my favorite show. Can’t wait to see y’all!

Hi, my name is Amber. I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa. I graduated from the University Academy of Hair and Design. Some of my specialties include blonding, hair coloring, and special occasion hair styling. Some of my favorite hobbies are going to concerts, lake days, hunting, and fishing. I am so happy to have joined the Paul Mitchell team! I would love to have you in my chair and make your hair dreams come to life! Looking forward to seeing you!
Tatiana
Hello! I’m Tatiana, a Dual Licensed Esthetician in FL and AL. I’m a native of Bibb County; graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Business and Commerce Administration. Even though business is where my nerdy side thrives, my heart beats for helping people with their confidence. I’ve always been an esthetician without knowing it could be a career. I attended the Aveda Institute in Jacksonville, FL in 2019 and have been learning everything I can about this amazing field ever since! I enjoy getting to know people and helping them take better care of themselves. I currently specialize in full body waxing, preventive versus corrective care and putting people to sleep during their facials with a deep emphasis on facial massage. Let me take care of you today!

Hi, I’m Tristen! I’ve been in the salon world since 2023, starting out as an apprentice before attending the University Academy of Hair Design to grow my skills and passion for cosmetology. I love helping clients feel confident and beautiful behind the chair. Outside of the salon, you’ll usually find me with a good book, spending time with my husband, or hanging out with my dachshund, Dixie.
